Bearing Walls

...and floor joists.

Matt took most of the week to focus on his finals. With those out of the way, he was immediately back to the grind at the house yesterday. Last night, he and Logan put up the bearing walls in the basement. Matt forgot the camera so I only have the shots I took today, but you can see them just fine. Today, he and Derek (friend and future next-door neighbor) have started putting the floor joists down for the main floor! That really makes it real for me. It's not just a cement hole anymore. Pretty soon, I will be able to stand "IN" my house! Wa-hoo!
